November 25th 2021 – Norton Park, Edinburgh and online!
We are planning a blended event, where you will be able to take part in person or online depending on your own preference and restrictions that may be in place at the time.
The event will include:
- A panel discussion with parents of young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (supported by PAMIS)
- A presentation from the DIVErgent INfluencers about how they designed and delivered a national consultation with other young people about their experiences of transition to young adult life
- An update on the Principles into Practice Trial Programme currently underway in 10 local authority areas across Scotland
- An update on the development of Compass, a web-based application being developed by ARC Scotland to help young people with additional support needs to make a smooth transition to young adulthood
*full agenda TBC
Please book your place and indicate if you plan to join us at the venue (Norton Park, Edinburgh) or remotely. Don’t worry – we know this might change as the day approaches, but it will really help our planning to have an idea of how many people we can expect!
